Did it really disappear or was it just bad propagation conditions?
I'd take the opinion off someone from here over the likes of

The Buzzer is very much alive. I've heard it everyday since Slashdot's
article. Think there were bad propagation conditions for a couple of days.

Hi all,
S28 (former UVB-76) is buzzing over and over on 4625/4667 kHz. 4667 is
weaker than the standard 4625. I could make a concert with buzzers on 2
receivers (the Sony ICF 2001 and my 2nd radio recorder),

The buzzer has been heard on various freqs during the past 2 months. The
original freq is 4625 but for some reason it is often heard on 2 to 4 other
freqs spaced by 42.5 kHz. Probably a transmitter error.

Wasn't there several recent reports of hearing it on at least five different
frequencies simultaneously?
