The military uses a similar system when sending data. It will burst
truncated data while hopping frequencies. I don't believe that's what
you were hearing, because US Military truncated bursts hop frequencies

The theory of the hopping and that we have it is not classified, it is how
we achieve it; as in how we keep them in sync. And then naturally anything
related to crypto regardless of how mundane the technology.
