Could be that is what happened. If NFPA goes back and puts all the RoP's and
RoC's on line I will research this further. Or it can wait until the next time
I am in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and can spend a few hours at the NFPA
library. I am not confident that I will find the answer.
If would delighted to hear more from you if you can find that mfr's
instructions. Let's see, torque is force times length of the normal moment
arm, so if I put a fish scale on the end of a 7-1/2 inch manufacturer's
specified wrench ...

We see this often and we address each issue individually and specifically. We
make sure that we do it in writing to whoever we are contracted to so that it
flows through the proper channels. I will make this caution however. Read your
specifications carefully. I have had instances like this
