Now that I looked at §12.3(3) it supports that the extension of the higher
demand from an upper level to a lower level isn't required, if that ceiling
change is located an aisle of 2' in depth on either side.

Can I assume that this elevation change would serve the same purpose as a draft
curtain or would one still be needed?
