A little more clarification to Taylor's response: It's only req'd for a 13D
system IF you're using the simplified calculation method using only the
static pressure. 13D then points you to their charts for friction loss
which includes CPVC tees on the run. If you're calculating a 13D system
using
Kyle, those lengths are to be used for 13D calculations. They're allowed
omissions per NFPA 13 2016 23.4.4.8.1 (3).
