Hello George, Just a quick look at the 05 NEC 610.57 talks about crane/hoist controls and requires 2 1/2 feet in front of cabinets. Now NEC 110.26 (a) (1) Working Spaces Condition 2 Exposed conductors 151-600 volts to ground requires 3 1/2 feet. I always ask The question - How close to that

George You won't go far wrong if you follow the table ( 1.9 I think in NFPA 15). This requires a minimum of 7 inches (178mm) for all voltages 13.8 kV Stewart Kidd Would anyone know how much clearance we need to leave between or steel feed main and an exposed crane rail with 440 volts?
