: Gloves for cutting machine
Only gloves I allow my fitters to wear while using most machinery is the
thin Nitrate surgical gloves. They at least provide some skin protection
from cutting oils.
Cotton gloves, mechanic style work gloves and even the no-cut safety gloves
are all no-no's and I believe
by OSHA regulations

Long loose hair is also inadvisable.
In fact the older manufacturer manuals used to specify that only naked bald
persons should operate the machine.
