 could you please provide more information ?
(FreeBSD version, SQLite version, what are the
problems, etc.).

First of all, is it FreeBSD 4.x or 5.x ?
Usually 4.x is used for production purposes,
I didn't try it.

However, I don't remember serious problems with 
several recent versions of SQLite (perhaps not the latest
one) on FreeBSD 5.1 and 5.2.
