[sqlite] When to set 'PRAGMA full_column_names = OFF'?

Hello everybody,
Should I set 'PRAGMA full_column_names = OFF' every time I execute a 
SELECT statement, or just once, right after I open the database? What 
is the lifetime of this setting?
