clearly, is not true.

No it's not a bug. AUTOINCREMENT is only allowed on INTEGER PRIMARY KEY.

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS test (id INT PRIMARY KEY AUTOINCREMENT,
temp text UNIQUE NOT NULL);
gives error
