There are 3 choices at the Control Panel
Don't start automatically
Automatically run at login
Automatically run at system start
I use the Automatically run at login and it starts every time I reboot
the pc. I then have to wait several minutes for it to fully load, but as
I leave my pc on 24/7

I tried a few times with the allthingspi method. It didn't work. I don't
think you will need to go from scratch. I uninstalled the failed builds,

Recent changes to Guardian podcasts have caused them to no longer play.
I first noticed this problem with the Guardian Football Weekly podcast,
but also appears to apply to Politics Weekly, and I presume all their

Symptoms: Episodes are listed in the feed, the correct url is displayed

Meanwhile there has happened something very strange. After several
switches between Logitech and Triodes plugin and subsequent restart of
LMS (as well as a couple of reboots of the entire machine), I noticed
that something looked different in the login fields on the tab for
Triode.

All sorted, seems as though I lost the transcoding when I upgraded from
LMS 7.7 to 7.8 and effectively reinstalled the incompatibilities between
arm architectures of my BeagleBoneBlack and LMS again.
Just copied two files from /usr//bin to /squeezeboxserver/Bin

I cannot believe that this is at least a 3 yr old problem and no one has
identified a fix or put together an app to address it. Perhaps my
research just hasn't taken me to the right place. I'm hoping someone
out there knows the answer.
I have owned a Squeezebox Classic for about 10 yrs now. I
I have now upgraded to Os X El Capitan, which apparently had no
influence on the current problem. I am again / still running Triode's
Spotify plugin and now I think I have localized the problem.
If I open "Settings" in the LMS and go to settings for Triode and click
on the "Self Test" it stops
