Ok. There's CPAN/Template/Filters.pm somewhere in your LMS installation
path. Can't tell where it is on your system. Find it :-).
Open the file in vi (or your preferred editor. Scroll down to line 23:

Yes. It should keep all your settings etc. A new scan will be triggered
due to some changes in the DB schema, but that's it.
Do a backup anyway.

I haven't seen mention of virtual libraries in the CLI doc.
Ahm... pretty much at the top of the documentation there's kind of a
changelog. Which prominently features libraries:

Specifically I would like to be able to de-associate and re-associate a
player with a virtual library.
I use Squeezy to quite comfortably unsync and re-sync players according
to pre-defined groupings. The idea is that individual users may use a
player for their own enjoyment after hours but in
This is quite a good way to expand your music collection.. search for

Hi Michael,
Just to clarify, I can download the Windows executable, run the
programme and it will install 7.9.0 over my current installation? No
special instruction required, or
Many thanks. Effectively, I had forwarded port 9000 in my router and had
a password in server.prefs. Problem solved.

We've seen similar reports from users who opened their LMS to the
internet. If you did so, close that port on your router again. Then shut
down LMS, open server.prefs file, remove the password entry, restart LMS.

Suddenly, I can't access to my Logitech Media Server any more. It asks
me for an user name and a password. It happens when I click on
Squeezetray and when I try to go on MyComputer:9000 in Firefox. I get
the following error message: 401 Authorization is Required to access
this Logitech Media

What is the source ?
I've seen a few "wide" spaces and wide "quotes" in BBC metadata for
BBCipLayer - I think it is an error in the source and wrong encoding.
For BBCiPlayer I swap the usual ones for proeper chars but it is
possible for
I'd only be worried if the log was full of these "wide characters"

I've seen this on piCore, and only piCore, too. I think it's due to its
lack of locale information. I'll have to figure out how to deal with this.
