This maintained version of sox has also other advantages, e.g. the
commits since April 16th have added MP3 encoding support -> so LAME will
be obsolete.

The linux x86_64 (only) build.In
/usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/x86_64-linux . Maybe next nightly?
It should be in already. It's what triggered a new nightly build.
What versions would sox and flac be? Should be SoX v14.4.2, and flac 1.3.2.

The updated binaries went in yesterday, should be in the latest 7.9.2

I just installed Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1536072399 @ Tue
Sep 4 17:16:34 CEST 2018, but that still has the old 2009 ones. Maybe I
was a day too early.

I just installed Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1536072399 @ Tue
Sep 4 17:16:34 CEST 2018, but that still has the old 2009 ones. Maybe I
was a day too early.
The newly updated version of SOX apparently does not support DSD. There
is a version of SOX which does.
