100k tracks on a Celeron J3455 Win10.
New server.db is 270MB, not sure what it contains apart from the lib
scan though.

Wow... that's pretty large! How many tracks? What kind of platform?
Would the newly built version be that large, too?

Today I got a message when I started up that the Squeezebox
preference.pane will need to be updated to be compatible with future
versions of the MacOS. I've had this same message for other apps and
utilities but it is the first time I have seen it for this.
I'm running 7.9.0 on a Mac running
After upgrading to logitechmediaserver-7.9.2-0.1.1552283404.noarch.rpm
which is the latest version compiled in 10 March 2019, I'm still seeing
a blank, turquoise screen with a spinning rosette followed by "Loading
Logitech Media Server..." in the middle of it.

Could your slimstreamer be used to loop the record input of a usb
soundcard directly to a Squeezebox ?
What about latency compared to the wavinput plugin ?

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. Shame it couldn't detect a
corrupted db and delete it itself! ;-)

So I tried clearing the library for a complete rescan, but the log shows
the same error.
Shut down LMS, delete the library.db from your cache folder and restart.
That file got corrupted somehow.
