Hi Marco,
Not sure you remember me but I just wanted to send my deep appreciation
of the improvements you brought into the C-3CPO. I can now add all my
equalizer settings in one go (the text size is significantly longer) -
thanks for that. It definitely helps a lot.
Also, many small changes make
Would you mind sharing that file? What format did you use?
Some text editor would leave a "byte order mark" (BOM) at the beginning
of the file. This could probably confuse the parsing. Please check your
editor's settings whether this can be disabled.

Hi all,
Gotten great info hear to keep my Squeezebox boom operating over the
long haul (purchased new back in the late 2000's).
A station I stream frequently has just changed to a new streaming
provider (WATD-FM). They are an independent station not corporately
owned. Looking at my web

If I create this playlist;
The Beatles\Abbey Road\08 Because.mp3
The Beatles\Abbey Road\09 You Never Give Me Your Money.mp3
The Beatles\Abbey Road\10 Sun King.mp3
The Beatles\Abbey Road\11 Mean Mr Mustard.mp3
The Beatles\Abbey Road\12 Polythene Pam.mp3
The Beatles\Abbey Road\13 She Came In

I actually do use LMS to create my playlists, but I then edit them and
remove all the lines that start with a "#"
I stated that I did that earlier in this thread:
Ok, thanks.
I've opened the m3u files using TextPad. The path to the tracks within
the Playlists is different than where the Playlists are now located.
Apparently I didn't copy them back to the same place.
HOWEVER, I OPENED A COUPLE OF THE M3U

My Playlists are not in the same Music folder as all my Music. Both the
Music and Playlist folders are on the root of F:\
With that said, all my playlists are created within LMS. So, unless I
am misreading your post, it sounds like you create your play lists from
scratch?
Also, I am still

Qnap TS-453a, with
server.log is LMS' own log file. It has nothing to do with the Windows
Event Viewer. Just search that file name in your file system.

I do very simple playlists that allow me to move my whole library with
all my playlists between both
Thanks Michael. I took a look at the Event Viewer - and got lost pretty
quickly - I couldn't find any specific event relating to the squeezebox
of LMS - and least noted as such. That may be too specific for Windows
or Windows may id an event another way. In your experience is there an
area of
Odd. Seems that new playlists are using url links instead of file
locations. Not sure. I've not seen that. Hopefully someone else can
chime in.
*Home:* VBA 4TB (2.5)>LMS 7.9.2>Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all
ethernet)
*Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.4)>LMS 7.9.1>Touch>Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio
That doesn't work. The whole format of the newly created playlists is
completely different. Here are examples.
OLD PLAYLISTS LOOK LIKE THIS:
#EXTM3U
#CURTRACK 0
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,Shadow to Light
E:\Music\Amethystium\Aphelion\Amethystium - Shadow to Light.mp3
#EXTINF:-1,Auld Lang Syne

I agree. But it does appear from the 'github issue'

You're right, lms 8 is a good opportunities to upgrade them. At this
point, I should build against the latest sources first.
However, I'll wait until you've had a chance to look at this

There are 'newer faad binaries available'
which include the CVE updates.
Not all of these are built from the latest source, but all commits after
the CVE change are cosmetic or specific platform build script

Ok, thanks.
I've opened the m3u files using TextPad. The path to the tracks within
the Playlists is different than where the Playlists are now located.
Apparently I didn't copy them back to the same place.
However, I opened a couple of the m3u files and edited the path to the
correct Drive
The faad which has a build date of Apr 6 2017 - which is distributed as
part of LMS 8.* - hangs
If I take a copy of faad and build from Ralphys github (who maintains
LMS tools such as faad) - no problem.
Could be the issue has been found but the fix has not been distributed
for some reason.

On 'qnapclub.eu' (https://qnapclub.eu/en/qpkg/545) it's still on
2.10.05.
QLMS 8.0.0@2.10.05 x64 (digimaster) with perl 5.28 dedicated to me. :D /
QNAP 469L QTS
Cheers, Gary - thanks for your help.
I guess it dawned on me later that, although (through my television/PS3
player), I would click on "Logitech Media Server" to access the video
folders on the NAS, that it didn't necessarily mean that LMS was serving
up the videos, just providing me access to
