It's doable, but not recommended. Here's some discussion. Some old and
SqueezeboxServer is now LMS. You'd need to set all this up before you
left home, as it requires settings on your home router.

I've gone on vacation and brought along one of my Squeezebox radios,
thinking I should be able to access my music over the Internet. I
assumed I would just need to setup some port forwarding in my router,
and enter the dyndns address of my home server in the Squeezebox.

Is there anything in the LMS server or scanner logs? LMS > Settings >
Information tab > scroll down to bottom of

Resized to use whole card. Tried scan and got only 165 tracks scanned!

The most likely things that may break LMS is use of external internet
service such as streaming radio or services like Spotify or Tidal. More
of this type
About the only thing that would trigger something like that is a power
supply problem. You may not have seen that in player only mode, but
when using LMS, the CPU usage will increase and could require more power
than you can supply it.

Ive recently installed PiCorePlayer on pi2b and the player works really
well when connected to my current LMS on Windows 10.
However Id like to run lms on the pi and have enabled this and set up a
share to my QNAP NAS.
When I start a scan it aborts very quickly and the pi reboots so any
