@mherger - do you think it will be possible to also disable editing of presets via the player? I'm sorry, this is not possible at this point. I am using the radio in a kids room and in between, my kid overrides the presets... I patched out the access to settings on the player as a first step..

I completely deleted the Cache directory /Users//Library/Caches/Squeezebox returned the next day and checked and perl5.18 was using some 0.5% or so CPU time. LMS is working again just perfectly! Thanks much for your hints and support and to all developers thanks for keeping development and sup
