I connect to LMS via Squeezer (the app).
Is there a way I can secure my connection by setting LMS to ask for
username and password?
Until now it connects with just the IP and username/password is blank.

Andre - thanks for that update. I used to run LMS on a Kubuntu system, but
that was years ago. I've been LMS on RPi for the years since and I'm quite
happy with it. Glad you could provide that angle for Zeph1900!

I replaced my NAS with a Debian 10 headless server as well.
Installing the LMS on it was entirely problem-free and basically ran
"out-of-the-box".
You have to download the right package from here:

Assuming you're running 64bit AMD or Intel that would be
I would suggest pcp on pi and lms on your Linux server.
Or buy a second pi with dac.
Put lms on pi without dac and point to music and use pi with dac as
player. Both running pcp.
That's how I did it only my sever is a windows 2019 box.

Hi
I'm new to streaming.
I plan to use a hifiberry rp-dac that plugs into my amp.
I have a debian-10 headless 'home-server' (always on), with music files.
I'm confused with the difference between piCoreplayer (pCp) and LMS. I'm
aware pCp can be installed with LMS.
But in my case, would it
Yes it seems like ther's not a whole lot off activity around this, but
nevertheless it would be grat to figure it oute it will have a very high
wife acceptance factor. I have no qlue if there is anything I could to
to help sorting it out, I'm no programmer even if I'm quite handy on

I have to assume that the duplicate tracks always appear after playing
tracks that I often return to otherwise I wouldn't notice the issue at
all. As far as I can tell the duplicated tracks only appear for tracks
that I have recently played.
How would you play them? Go back to the album and
I have to assume that the duplicate tracks always appear after playing
tracks that I often return to otherwise I wouldn't notice the issue at
all. As far as I can tell the duplicated tracks only appear for tracks
that I have recently played.
