I get that, but am really in love with the Sqrsoft crossfader -
especially with the older jazz, R and pop music I'm listening to it
works incredibly well. No long fade outs or anything with this material
and the crossfades are usualy razor sharp.
I see the LMS M3U playlist and the Winamp one
Im wondering if the OP is aware that there is software that will run on
Windows that makes the PC become a native SB player and that there are
very good crossfade options built into LMS.
You want Sugarcube to generate the playlists but you want to play them
on PC with crossfade applied. Is that
Joined the forum today so that I could say "Thanks!" for this helpful
thread and the Python script.
It really is a wonderfully fast way of obtaining the album list and for
us 'older-folk' used to paper it is very much appreciated. I am printing
it off for the household.

Thanks for the swift response.
I have audio coming in to one of the Pi4/HiFiBerry devices which I am
streaming out to the other devices, so I select the Streaming on the
source and synchronize to the other Pi4/HiFiBerry devices.
They are sometimes a bit fussy about appearing, but when they do,
Using the .m3u files in the cache will only work if WinAmp has access to
read the files themselves. This is only ever likely to be the case if
LMS is running on the same Windows machine as WinAmp.
You could copy and then edit the .m3u files to correct the file path but
I doubt think thats what
>From your description "Output of squeezelite to other LMS players" it
seems you should be using Synchronize and not WaveInput which is
intended to take an input on the LMS server and make it playable on LMS
players.
I have had to install my LMS which is at version: 8.1.1 on a new server
running Ubuntu 18. I have forgotten how I setup the WaveInput to play
from one Squeezelite Player to the others.
I have found a Plugin WaveInput, but cannot find any settings for it. I
remember I need to set

Would there be a way to just port over LMS's current
now-playing-playlist to Winamp's now-playing playlist?
LMS saves those playlists in the cache or playlist folder, using the
player's MAC address as the file name. See Settings/Information for
where those paths are on your system.
Would there be a way to just port over LMS's current
now-playing-playlist to Winamp's now-playing playlist? I'm starting to
wonder if there's not just a quick and dirty way to do this that might
work. I know there's a Save Playlist plug-in available but that's not
really what would work, I'd
