I have installed LMS 8.3.0 Unix Tarball - No CPAN Libraries
(logitechmediaserver-8.3.0-1632226822-noCPAN.tgz) on a ASUSTOR NAS (i686
linux). The Audio Scan version of this build is 0.93 but it does not
support DSD tagging. All my DSD files cannot be scanned. Audio Scan
0.96 onwards has support
If you are using the nocpan tarball, then you must compile it yourself.
Audio scan requires an architecture dependent compiled library.

And I just realized that I could access my custom Pandora stations that
I had previously saved as favorites on MySqueezebox.com. That works
just as well.

Ah, never mind. I did a little more searching and found that Pandora
seems to limit itself (at least the free version) to actual Logitech
Squeezebox hardware (not other players using LMS).

A few months ago I configured a Raspberry Pi with piCorePlayer (player
only) to eventually replace a SB Classic that's getting buggy in its old
age. I also have a SB Radio and SB Touch. I got so used to switching
to MySqueezebox.com on my existing players that I hadn't bothered to
enter
Is this genre lookup feature only working for online music services or
also for locally stored music? Would be nice!
It's online music only. There are enough tools to "fix" the genre tags
in your own files once and for all.
