LMS also stopped working for me on CentOS7 after the old versions
removal, the built-in perl is 5.16.3. The OS is supported for 2 more
years until 2024.
I'm sorry for the hassle... I put 5.16 support back for the RPM file.
New builds are in the pipeline. Please check again in an hour or so.

coexist or lead to compatibility issues with other apps?
Quick update: I realised that the version I installed there was Intel
rather than the updated M1. So even though it appeared to be working
fine I reinstalled the M1 version which worked straight out of the box.
So I guess it's reasonable to conclude that the issue was bad
permissions all along,

was getting lots of errors. So instead I had a crack at following your
