I did, yes but sadly it hasn't touched the problem. Sometimes the jump
in volume is immediately after a server restart, sometimes there is a
delay. It's very disconcerting!

It works well in conjunction with the Power Save plugin which turns your
SB player off after a period of inactivity.
Still struggling with this issue. The volume keeps increasing to 76 of
