I had the same problem and set the mode to cache several months ago and
have not had a repeat of the issue.

I think this has been asked before. As I understand it, Amazon do not
make the API to their service available and so it is not possible to
implement a plugin.

No answer here, but a restatement of the issue:

I think the "shuffle" described by the Spotify engineer is the effect
that people want from a "random" option. 2-4 seconds is not something
to worry about in my opinion but for those with "legacy" CPUs, I think
there should be the option to choose a "simple random" option.

I am not experiencing such issues with a pi-4 wired connection. Did you
try swapping out Ethernet
To play WMA files under Pcp 7.0.0 you need to:
1) Install the Play Windows Media LMS plugin
2) Install the pcp-ffmpeg.tcz Extension
In addition, if you have any embedded jpgs in your WMA files (e.g. album
covers), you will need to edit the custom-covert.conf file installed by

Yes it is (with a plugin) and works well. LMS 8 also integrates your
Qobuz favourites and playlists into your LMS

Probably not now but you could. I have a couple of 16MB SD cards that
came with cameras a few years ago!

You will need 50MB for pcp and more to run LMS, did you mean 32GB rather
than 32MB?

It is more expensive than yours but still on the foothills as far as
cables are concerned, e.g.
I have a HiFiBerry Dac+ Pro connected to an amplifier with DIN inputs.
I used this cable:

Good quality and much cheaper than Flashback cables.
I have upgraded from 7.9.4 to 8.0.1 with no problems. Thanks, the
online music library integration is great!
I have one question. I have the Play Windows Media (v1.1) plugin
installed. Everything still works (i.e. I can play WMA files with the
new version of Squeezelite) but if I look at
