This is a good hint. I recently dealt with a similar issue as the OP. In
my case what appeared in mp3tag as a single YEAR tag with duplicate
values (separated by ;)
Have you looked at Server Settings > Behavior > Filter Contributor Roles
at the Album & Track Level?

I don't know that a script exists. I copied the cache and prefs folders
to my external drive (shut down LMS first!). Then on the LMS tab on pCP
I chose the option Set LMS data. There's another button to move data. It
probably does what it says, but confirm with the docs or here to be
safe.

Thanks for that info. It was helpful. You correctly pointed out that I
had -copied- the install image rather than -burning- it -- an important
distinction that was lost on me at the time.
I ended up going in a slightly different direction. I installed full
Raspbian and installed LMS on it.
Apologies for the thread hijack but it's still Max2Play and LMS...
I bought a Pi4. I downloaded the Max2Play image from
https://www.max2play.com/en/max2play-image/. I unpacked it and put the
image (and only m2p_buster_rpi-v250.img) on a blank 8GB FAT32-formatted
microSD card following the
