I have only a small libraray and 500MB is plenty for me.
I often use 300MB, do all the config, check everything works and then
make

Yes I did and that seems to have solved the problem. Was there any other
error message ould have seen that would have suggested that? No matter,
I have enlarged it a lot so hopefully not a problem
