This may help someone else who has the same problem.
I bought my SOtM SMS-200 network player second-hand, and the previous
owner still had some of his own config written to the SD card.
Downloading a new image of the eunhasu OS used by this play

Thanks for that. Maybe I should try to install LMS on another server and
continue to use Squeezelite on the playback

I noticed that as well. I think we have lost support for .gif somewhere
along the line.

I am using LMS 7.9.1. I have an album with cover art as a folder.gif
file. Now I am pretty sure this used to be visible but now it isn't. Did
something change?
