Confirming that there is no apparent drive size limit. I have several
piCorePlayer/LMS setups with connected portable 4TB drives. And in my
case I don't have to use any extra power source for the drives (simply
plugged into the USB port of the rPi4B or rPi3B+.

How about a clarification? When you say that within LMS the device

Well, since the mouning process was succesfully within in pcp, it stuck
within LMS, so it could be a LMS problem also.

Exactly, this is not an LMS problem. The drive is probably not mounted
correctly in pCP, not enough power to spin it up?
