Well, since my last post I have connected my rpi 1B to a monitor,
installed Jivelite (50 secs) rebooted 2 min 24 secs and then configured
Jivelite to just playback some music
27812
I did have to connect my mouse direct to the pi.
So maybe you should try uninstalling Jivelite and then doing

I suggest you
What is controllable from the display, nothing on the keyboard or mouse
has any control over the screen on my system, except mouse clicking on
graphics of the station playing open graphic equalizer.
PS Pi-Hut have the same price as ebay without the VAT.
Not all usb hubs are suitable for a raspberry pi.
You want one that does not backload the pi with power.
I don't think e-bay is a good source for pi unless it is a certified
reseller.
Maybe Pi-Hut or Pimoroni in the UK (Sheffield, I think). RS Components
and Farnell as well.
Any pi you buy,
Yes picoreplayer does appear in jivelite and plays. I am definately
having trouble with
my usb hub loosing the network connection if overloaded. May be time to
get a rPi 3+ as I do like the Pi.
Is it much faster?
Ebay have them for £27.49.
Is there a web interface to set up jivelite.

Not in jivelite, no players show at all but pCP does in LMS web
interface before I install jivelite.

Not sure what a RPi is but the only player I can get is if I switch on
my main server then it shows me Daphile over the network and does play
from that.
I am having trouble setting up sound card and output in LMS. I have the
choice of usb pcm2704 usb dac or hdmi on the tv. Don't understand how
Jive lite is a separate controller, you can control any player from
jivelite.Does you RPi show up as a player?
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

Hello
I have installed LMS on pCP on a Pi 1. I can connect to it by the web, I
thought I had installed the sound card but when I installed jivelite it
asked what player.
I am not sure of this and could do with a bit of advise. I have done
something wrong.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

For all of this week the nightly update 7.9.2 - 53860 is available but
when I try the 'nightly update' in pCP first message is
-LMS Update Found:

If you only want an RPI LMS, why not consider DietPi?
Because it most likely is more complicated to install & configure than
pCP. And not as "mainstream" (eg. well supported by this community) as
pCP, either.

I will connect the pi via LAN.
