I have the same problem on my Mac Minis Server with macOS Sierra. on MAX
OSX El Capitan it was works fine.
Did you follow the instructions which helped the OP?

I've deleted LMS and did a clean install, but that didn't solve the
problem. On El Capitan LMS 7.9 worked without any problem. I use an 4 GB
MacBook Air (2013)
Has anyone a solution? .
