Followed instructions, and it still will not allow me to move .ape files
into the current playlist. I am running Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit.

The x86_64 package doesn't include the mac (Monkey's Audio Console Front
End) binary.
I've attached a tar file that includes a shared and static 64bit mac
binary. They were built on debian 8.
You'll need to extract it to either the LMS Bin/x86_64-linux/ directory
or /usr/local/bin

OK, I suppose I have to add that I can play them on the same system by
any player. Just not in Squeezebox.

Also in Advanced > File Types Monkey's Audio is greyed out, as well as
Wavepack.
