I pulled out my Touch recently and it would not hold a wireless
connection on my Orbi network. A few days ago, I deleted the EDO plug
in from the Touch (don't need it anymore) and updated to the latest Orbi
FW.
My Touch has been solid on wifi for the past 48+ hours. FWIW - be sure
you are

i've had the exact same issue with 2 Touches and eero. server was a
PiCP. i've finally hardwired one of them to an eero, but it's not
possible with the other.
eero support, which is typically quite good, was particularly lame on
this issue.

I forgot about a wireless to ethernet adapter that was previously
suggested as I was knocking my head against the wall trying to get the
WiFi working (it's most likely interference from my neighbor causing the
problem). On another thread, a Vonets VAP11G-300 was used by someone

I stand defeated.
Tried everything I could think of, suggested on this forum, and
exhausted google.
After 15 minutes of so of non-activity, my 4 SB Radio disconnects from
WiFi (but not my Touch, go figure),
But if playing, I sometimes get an hour or more before it disconnects.
Reboot fixes it,

I have had absolutely no issues with my Radio on an eero mesh system.
Perhaps I am just lucky :)

While I have no problem with my Radio with a Netgear Orbi - I have
always turned off as many of the "new" features such as bonding.
The alternate approach is to use Ethernet socket of radio and a
nano/travel router in reverse client mode (i.e. Wifi to Ethernet) such
as those from TP-link or

Unfortunately, the Google Wifi router offers little in the way of user
configuration:

Any major-brand N150/N300 router should work fine. My Radios have
connected without issue to models from Netgear, Buffalo, and D-Link.
ASUS has also

Short version: the Radio doesn't handle interference for other WiFi
networks, try using a fixed
Tried with an eero router, same problem, so its not the Google WiFi
software update that I suspected.
I'll need to start another thread on the SB Radio disconnecting.
No need to start a new thread. All the information posted here would be
lost.
Did you try a wired connection?

I'll need to start another thread on the SB Radio disconnecting.

Well, got the piCorePlayer running and same problem.
Next it to try another router. I'll give the eero a try
(always meant to set up the piCorePlayer anyway).

I have my LMS on a mac-mini (that in sleep when not in use). Worked
great for years. Not sure whats causing my issues now, but I have a

1st gen Google Wifi, software 12871.57.12. Networking wise the same
setup as you...
I'm wondering now if this is a macOS Catalina issue (not sure if Apple
pushed a software update).
Weird that my Squeezebox Touch is not having an issue, but the SB
Radio's are.
Anyway, I've been considering switching from my mac-mini to
piCorePlayer, so might as well do it now.

Anyone with a Google WiFi having issues with Squeezebox Radio dropping
the WiFi Connections?
(My Squeezebox Touch is working ok)
Everything was fine until a few days ago. I can connect to the Network,
but it will later drop connection and not auto-connect when the Radio is
turned on.
Not sure
