as i was the only one having this problem, i was digging deep and
deleted the database and the cache dir. Started from scratch. Now i'm
finding comment tag data. Weird. But solved. Sorry for the hassle.

Thank you guys for keeping LMS alive! Still the best music system.
Nothing better than the Squeezebox Touch and the Squeezebox Radio!
I finally had the courage to upgrade to docker and Synology DMS 7. After
some struggles and thanks to the description here

What is the mount to 'Argon' used for?

I've seen this sometimes too. I'll look into it. Thanks for reporting.

It should not be necessary to click two
Hello - I just upgraded an ancient mac that runs my LMS from Mojave to
Big Sur and am experiencing the same issues referenced in this thread.
It worked in Mojave. The server will automatically start at login but
does not automatically start on system boot. I also tried the
create-startup.sh

You are mixing up file tagging with what ends up in the database. After
the scan phase tags are irrelevant. At scan

Yes, that works fine. Sorry, perhaps I did not make it clear in the OP.
To stop the server, I just kill perl 5.18
Oh, the problem is only about the preference pane not showing the
correct status? What if you close the preferences and restart them?
Yes, the prefpane deos not show the correct status and apparently cannot
invoke access to http://localhost:9000. Closing System Preferences does
not cure the issue. I have also restarted the Mac and this does not
resolve the problem.
Yes, that works fine. Sorry, perhaps I did not make it clear in the OP.
