oh, and I suggested "x86_64", rather than amd64, for the variable, so
one could use:
arch=$(uname -m)
to generate it automatically.
Why don't you let LMS do this for you? It has an update checker built
ind and would automatically use the correct string :-)

I see that in TuneIn service there is an option to add custom URL radio
station/streams.
However it doesn't work in my LMS server:
Can you explain, step-by-step, what you're trying to do? What URL?
What's the outcome?

Running the internal squeezeplay sqpos303, I was hopeful that this light
installation would allow full LMS functionality without having to resort
to the previous sqpos version.
I don't even know what sqpos303 is, but I wouldn't know why a 1.3GHz
Intel system wouldn't be able to run the full
sqpos is a special Ubuntu build mainly for running SqueezePlay on a O2
Joggler. Furthermore it offers to install a complete LMS also. But sins
version 3.0.3 roobarb! decided not let it be installed in internal RAM.
I think because of the size.
On an external booting USB-Stick, LMS runs fine.
Hi,
I am using a vortexbox OS, version 2.3 = Fedora 20, LMS 7.9 and
squeezelite and would like some help on getting some inline EQ working.
I started off by finding info from someone upsampling using LMS and
editing the /etc/squeezeboxserver/custom-convert.conf file.
I can get the upsample to

What CPU and OS and version? Could you please check your server.log for
any related error message?

SQLite, unlike most other databases like eg. MySQL, is an embedded database.
There's no sqlite application or server. But the whole database code is built
in to the application (the DBI::SQLite Perl module in our case). Therefore

So, that means 'installing' / running a seperate instance of sqlite will
not interfere or harm w/ LMS, correct?
Yes, they can live side by side. They could even be using different
versions of the SQLite libraries. As long as you don't try to share the
database files.

Hmm... I did expect some problems, but would not have thought playing
would be one of them :-). I'll look into
