Hi All,
I'm trying to get LMS7.9 run on my QNAP HS-251 which is a Intel Celeron
DualCore CPU.
My first problem is to decide which tarball file to use.
Is the QTS operating system a Unix version, A Linux version or a Debian
version?
(And what is FreeBSD?)
Any help is much appreciated.

but that might be an alternativ to the rasperrypi.

And Shazam - fixed! Downloaded the nightly and installed, scanned - and
tickboxes for random mix are working again.
Many thanks Michael, I owe you a beer/beverage of your choice.
Thanks to Mnyb and Karlek as well for reproducing the problem.
Very happy to have 7.9 back - much faster

I think that the Onkyo has both optical and coaxial inputs.
You usually have a choice as to how to connect the TV (audio wise) if it
is a modern TV it should have an HDMI audio return channel which allows
one HDMI cable to be used for in & out. If it isn't modern then use an
optical out from the
I'll bet it is able to decode but doesn't infringe patents'. Tbh lots of
players have included decoding (burr brown added it to some dac's and
iirc oppo players do it as well. However I do wonder if they are just
converting to a reasonable 20bit or actually doing it properly.
