We are on Windows I assume?
Then you probably have an item in a playlist with the same drive letter
that is now used by the DVD drive ?
Also double check you music folder and playlist folder settings so that
they point where you want them to ?
Another option is a shortcut pointing to the DVD
I just tried to rescan my music collection. The collection is a
particular folder on one of my hard drives.
I got an error popup from "scanner.exe" saying there was no disc in my
DVD/CD drive.
Why would scanner.exe try to read my DVD/CD drive? This is the first
time I've seen this happen.

What I did in the end, was build Perl 5.22 like in your manual. (The
manual is a few years old, so I changed some lines to reflect newer Perl
Guess what!
Six months later and the same thing.
So I woke up this morning ... and selected "Music Library - Music Folder
-> ..." and the server process got stuck. Everything non-responsive
just like before. As before, seems to be because of DST changes.

My setup is LMS nightly hosted on a ReadyNAS 314 with one Logitech
As an aside Logitech Harmony remotes are now integrated with Amazon
Echo/Dot so if anyone has contacts in that department it could be a
quick path to development:

I find it to be quite good. You can say "Alexa, play the song xxx by
xxx" or "...the song xxx from the album xxx" and she usually gets it
right and
