if i do maps with 200 or 300 files it seem to work.
The only step i did some time ago was running a songkong session.

The program changes file info etc.. maybe it broke something.
i have to group the numbers in some collections to get some useful
results.

hi,
i would look at /mnt/3TBMusic/Music
and not using the whole folder as a library something like
/mnt/3TBMusic/Music/whatever (when there is a folder whatever)
Do a scan
If that scan isnt broken add another folder from that disk
until you find the track that bugs you and your lms.

If your done ask a complete question and submit all information...
I experienced lots of strange errors and decided to reinstall my server.
I first tried linux mint ( mate) and ended with a fresh install of
Debian 9 ( more stable)
Everything works as expected execpt the scanning of the approx 70K mp3
and Flac files.
The scanner sees the files and starts

It looks like
Code:

has worked for me. This *might* be a function of your exact Mac hardware

I don't think it's a problem, but you can confirm over at the EDO

I've tried many of the squeezelite logging setting and while a
decode=debug will show the sample rate from a AAC

On my MacMini, "stop Server' in the preferences app does not work. I
have to go into the Activity Monitor and stop the perl

OK thanks. I will try to capture an even when the wrong rate comes out.
It happens a couple of times a month, so it may be some time.
Granted I'm running Win 7, but I've not had any stability issues with
7.9 builds:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=7.9
It would be helpful if you installed the latest and reported any
problems.
You might also want to update to latest Touch firmware:
Thanks Paul. Any idea which particular version of 7.9 is the most
stable?

7.9 does not require mysqueeze but it works with it like prior versions.
My guess is that most people who are active here on the forum are using
7.9

Hi,
there is a lot of information and a lot is missing..
the way to change the ip must be in /etc/default/logitechmediaserver
otherwise you may end with nothing when there is a update.
DONT modifying the /etc/default/logitechmediaserver !
each NIC can have must have its own gateway! I dont

Enabling logging network.http to DEBUG (maybe just INFO could work) will
log the wget request but it will also log a lot of other activity so set
back to ERROR level ASAP - look for "GET /music/current/cover?player"
in server.log.
So I'd been happily running my two Touch devices from my Win7 Ultimate
machine for a lot for years. I was using LMS 7.6 I think. I decided to
finally step up now that I'm on Win10, but I'm not sure which version of
LMS to use. I see the community has continued development past 7.7, but

I've used wireshark multiple times in the past, I'm no expert but I'm
not unfamiliar with it either. I installed it on my Windows LMS server
and I'm now more confused. The GET url strings for the
For MP3 streams - these should be played natively by a player so LMS has
nothing to do with decoding sample rate. MP3 stream are made up of a
series of frames - each frame has a header which details stream format:
the bit rate, channel etc.

Hi,
I a running a nightly LMS 7.9.2 on Windows Server 2012R2. My players are

being played at the wrong speed (e.g. 44.1 kHz MP# stream is decoded as
