MPlayer OSX Extended does work in Catalina. But LMS does not recognize

Update: it seems that this issue is not related to the plugin.
Since I disabled it, I still have this problem.

I can confirm that SqueezePlay version 1034 or higher should work with
Catalina.
If you have a fully updated version of Mojave, you will get a

I shutdown the PC last night and when I checked Client Cleanup the
Squeezelite player was no longer connected so I deleted it. I thought
that would fix it but when I rebooted the Squeezelite player reappeared.

I'm not sure what exactly is the problem you're having. But did you try
to restart LMS?
Is it two players, or one player showing up twice?
