Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Don't Stop The Music / LastMix

2019-12-07 Thread Michael Herger

Song Mix appears, but no tracks are pulled from either Tidal or Qobuz
now (both services have been active for several months). Are there new
known issues, are there any logs I can gather and share?

plugin.lastmix and plugin.dontstopthemusic should give you some more
information (Settings/Advanced/Logging)

Why don't you just load your library into mp3tag and sort by album? Then
you can add the tags you want. Or you can export the tags %_path% and
%title% or whatever info you want of these files into a text file.

Hi Michael,

I have removed both DSTM, and LastMix and reinstalled/restarted LMS to
no change. Not sure when this started, if with 2.0 or another.

Thanks for any help.

When i remove tidal from plugins, than restart server, again install

dissappears again.

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Finding all tracks with nothing in their "Album" mp3 tag

2019-12-07 Thread gstalnaker

All,

I see in my LMS web UI a listing for "No Album" in, for example, New
Music (see screen show below). When I click on it, I see 100s of tracks
(see screen show below).

28712

28713

GAH!

Now, I know why this is, so that's doesn't worry me. But, I want to fix
them by assigning appropriate tracks to Albums, etc.

Issue -- how can I get a complete list of these tracks (without using
the LMS web UI)?? I've spend a fair bit of time (days, actually) trying
to figure out how to get a list of these tracks that have no information
in their mp3tab "album" tag. I've searched to find Linux/Windows
commandline tools that can get to the file mp3tag data directly. Nothing
(not even using RegEx). So I turned to LMS itself to see what may be
possible. Seems the best approach is to use queries directly against the
LMS db.

But, how to do that? ErlandI created a SQL query plugin but there is no
documentation I can find that explains how to use it. Nor do I find
documentation on the DB structure to know how one might write an SQL
query to do this. The CLI interface also doesn't see promising as a
method to query the DB.

I thought I could, perhaps, copy the contents of the Cache folder to a
local drive, then set up phpLiteAdmin and open the DB in it, and try to
use it's UI to do some SQL digging, but phpLiteAdmin persistently says
that the files I copied (all of them) from the LMS ./Cache folder are
not SQLite db files.

Again, what I want is a list of these tracks that have a blank, NULL,
empty, "", value in the Album mp3tag. The data should reference the
path/filename (so they can actually be found on the harddrive). Since my
music is on a NAS I can easily get to the physical files.

Anyone have an idea how to get this list?m Thanks.

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2 or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !

2019-12-07 Thread Mycenius

Hi All - quick update and questions; just got my brand new QNAP HS-453DX
NAS and have it up and running with QLMS installed and music library
copied over onto it's local drive(s)! All looking good so far - just
waiting for the new RAID array rebuild to finish before I start testing
initial basic playback with my Squeezebox Touch and start customising
LMS (plugins, etc).

In the meantime couple of quick 'knowledge' questions:

1. -what permissions are needed on the media file folders/directories
(music & playlist libraries) for QLMS to run okay- (e.g. do they need
public read permissions, or is local admin read/write adequate) -
alternately is it just as per usual LMS config? I'm not planning to
share media to other 'servers' from this specific NAS as all my music
playback will be through LMS and it's external hardware & software
players (i.e. squeezebox Touch, Allo USBridge Signature, iPeng software
players on iPhones/iPads, etc). Didn't see any direct reference to this
when searching.

2. And incidentally @digimaster -should the QLMS install have created
the appropriate directories for LMS- that would be created when a normal
LMS install from scratch occurs? It didn't seem to for me FWIW but my
NAS as noted is brand new and only had the default public
folders/directories present and nothing else.

Many TIA.

On LMS 7.9.1 and noticed that some artists are not showing up in menus.

Please try again with 7.9.2. Most likely this is a contributor to some
track, but not a main artist.

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Artists not showing in menus

2019-12-07 Thread MillmoorRon

On LMS 7.9.1 and noticed that some artists are not showing up in menus.

They are clearly there because they play from playlists and show up in
search from the top bar - but not the advanced view!

Any ideas?

I'm sure this didn't used to happen.
