The only things I'm aware of on rescans is in Settings -> Performance
there's a setting for scan if you change some LMS settings and also the
Rescan Music Library plugin. Outside of those two I don't have any idea.

days, or even more than one week, Squeezeboxserver task stops it works
or better say, it does not respond any more.
