but get a 'forbidden' for the settings page. which is kind of expected.
You currently have two options to deal with the situation:
* enable password protection (and optionally add your networks to the IP
allow list)
* disable the check by setting the protectSettings value to a falsy
value
My QLogitechMediaServer keeps getting stopped by the QNAP NAS because if

ignored.
Now after starting it a few minutes later the NAS stops the server with

I changed from Run at login and I can now see my network drive.
Thank you very much.

When I push "set NET mount" after updating the "vers" parameter I get a
backup message anyway.
The point is that the LMS update itself seems to take the 1st 15
characters (uid=1001, gid=50) and ignores the ones after 15 (vers=1.0).
When the update is done you have to update the parameter and
I had been using Squeezelite-X from the Windows store on Windows 10. I
just downloaded the latest Squeezelite here:

It does not have the GUI but I usually use the web interface anyway so

servus michael,
i'm having the same or similar issue as the last poster.

connected to the host network. so i can access it with 192.168.1.11 (ip

You might have to initiate a pCP backup to make it stick.

Ok, now I know where to look and I also know what happened and why I
probably lost the vers parameter.
After everything was mounted perfectly and I could play music from my
NAS again, I just did an update on LMS, rebooted and the vers parameter
disappeared again. Only uad and gid are left.

Dear Forum,
i have a strange issue with sorting of my Various Artists Compilations
in LMS.
For some Reason in Album Artists, my Various Artists shows up under
letter B, between "Bazuka" and "Beau Williams". Not under letter V as it
used to be.
In All Artists it shows up between "Beach

Some things are slightly hidden in pCP.
At the top of the network mount section - expand more>.
Make a note!

Thanks Ralphy! I also successfully used a linux "dummy" interface
(dummy0) but it didn't work any better than just using 127.0.0.1 so no
point really. Discovery didn't work with it, I think, at least on linux,
it seems not having a gateway defined causes discovery issues even for
local
I'll investigate if it's possible to modify jivelite and squeezeplay to
check for a remote lms server having been entered in the configuration
and connect to it, if not, continue with auto discovery.
It might end up being a chicken and egg situation, since sometimes the
menus don't work at all

wow, this might be the first time I have ever seen a video posted. Think
of the possibilities! Members with problems filming and posting their
futility, rather than describing it in print and pictures:p

Is there a way to make a bookmarklet or similar for this? e.g. does it
expose an API URL, so I can just press a button in the browser to play
things? That would be phenomenal!
