It works !! Just initiated a full rescan while listening to music and
the volume stays the same, meaning that replaygain continues to be

...so after thinking about it, the only cause remains are the tags
(never had this), but what i did was delete all tags, including album
art of this album. retagged via discogs (mp3tag, even though i'm using
discogs and musicbrainz tools in my workflow all the time), the album
now shows up, so
