[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How to add an album from Qobuz to Favorites?
Im pretty sure Ive accomplished this before, but for the life of me I cant seem to figure out how to add an album in Qobuz to my LMS Favorites. I get how to favorite something within Qobuz, and I also see that its easy to add individual tracks from Qobuz to LMS Favorites. Im running LMS 8.3.0. I commonly use Material Skin or Squeezepad as controllers. Totally went over my head to do this. I've set this up and tested it with great success and now I can automate this action with a Zigbee button attached to the frig so my GF can simply shut everything down. Thank you again and if you have any other cool Material tricks that you wish to share please do! And Yes, calling it quits at 62 has been great! I missed seeing the Allquiet plugin which is available for LMS v8.2.0 but doesn't seem to work or I'm not implementing it correctly. I've also installed Node-Red in Home Assistant since there is a Squeezebox plugin for Node-Red and I'm having a play with that. I'm not terribly knowledgeable on Node-Red but I'm recently retired so have the time to work with it. Thanks for everyone's input! I have never used it, and don't know if it's still viable, or current LMS supports it, or all players (basically, I don't know anything)...but. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Turn Off All Players
It's not uncommon for me to have different music playing in different rooms and more times that not it drives my girlfriend bonkers especially when friends come over chat or it's getting late. Normally she asks me to turn off the music which I happily oblique but it would be better if she could open Home Assistant on her phone and blast them all at one time. I have Home Assistant set up on one RaspPi and piCorePlayer on another with 3 Squeezeboxes and 1 piCore Player scattered around the house and outside (soon to be adding another piCore Player to the Greenhouse! ;) ). I've tried this command "...localhost:9000/status.html?p0=stop=Player1=Player2" but it only shuts off Player2. Is there a command to shut off all players regardless of whether they are grouped or not? I also use the Group Players plugin in LMS and the Material skin on HA. Many thanks! *@Redrum * Hi Jim Although there is no real requirement to wipe a sd card before making a new image, I have often used this program https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/ which includes the "overwrite" format. It's a tad anal I know :o, but peace of mind is important :), and I only use it infrequently :):p Are your Daff 's out yet ? ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116161 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Backup of server settings
one last thought - backup the entire micro SD on your pi. I don't know about debian, but I use picoreplayer and it has a backup feature that allows you to back up the entire SD to a mounted drive or network location (maybe?) without removing the card. Thanks for the info about the UUID. I agree, the cache is the least of my concerns - everything that's set up automatically is not really an issue. Thanks for the clarification. I don't have an answer for you, maybe Ronnie does, he's a wizard :) But, as a test, since the regular flac streams are affected, why not create favorites to play the streams directly (from the link I gave you). This will at least tell you if it's related to the plugin, or RP's interface to the plugin (if that is different) I do realize how frustrating "occasionally for no reason" issues can be...:) Jim PS - as a bonus, since you like RP, check out "Jukebox Radio 2" out of Toronto, Ont. Similar mix (I like it better), no commercials, no talk, FLAC. You can stream it directly, but I use Paul Webster's "Radio Now Playing" plugin that adds the song info and album art to the FLAC streams. When I say that I like it better, its allot more like what RP used to be before they migrated to being heavy in allot of newer and world artists (I don't dislike, just prefer the older).
