My music collection is only about 175G. I have a 256G SD card and was thinking about setting up a LMS server on a new Raspberry Pi 3. That would be a big step up from my Mac Mini. This is actually a dedicated device which runs LMS and does nothing else. As long as it can do that one task - stream an ALAC or MP3 (320) file to the hard wired Ethernet port - which it seems to do just fine - I am not sure if I care how fast it is for general use.
