[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Player connected via MySB.com not showing in LMS ?
Good Boxing Day morning all Noddy question ... If one player (Boom, ethernet connection) is streaming directly via MySB connection, should this be visible & controllable through LMS web interface ? No players are listed. I can see the MySB.com connected players via my mysqueezebox.com page. Podcast = one long continuous mix ((100MB +). The filename and tagged track name were changed. Also these show up as expected in Foobar2000 (new name and artwork visible) but only the older files (without artwork) in LMS. Apologies for the effectively duplicate thread, but hope this title may get more response (see also http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?106277-CanNOT-get-2-new-downloaded-mixes-to-display-album-art ). I cannot get LMS to "forget" these 2 files, even with clear/rescan (and also removing files from library, scanning, putting back, then rescanning). Every time they pop up again in the "new music" list - with old file name & no album art. I do wonder whether this relates to inadvertently turning off laptop mid-scan after adding these files originally. Can anyone advise ? Hello These 2 mixes have embedded album art (which displays fine in Foobar2000), but refuses to display in LMS 7.9x (or connected devices). Have tried a complete rescan, clearing database, cache etc. (more than once) but stubbornly refuses to appear. Any ideas ? Thanks The Generic Hub was already set to unchecked - however the mass storage wasn't so have changed this. The Elements itself doesn't have Power Management. Hello Sometimes when I am streaming music (usually to one my Touches) from LMS 7.9 on Asus TP300L Flip, the music stops playing (although SqueezeCommander app on phone registers it still playing). I can usually get it playing again by simply disconnecting / reconnecting the HD (a WD Elements 2 TB drive). I have ensured my power plan has USB Selected Suspend disabled. Any ideas as to why this is happening (and potential fixes) ? OS = Win 10 64 bit (latest Aug 2016 anniversary edition build). Broadband finally got fixed by engineer - lo and behold album art now showing on Touches. So either internet / broadband connection was required, or he did something during the 40 mins repair (which involved both outside & inside work) which fixed it. Still weird though ... I should say this problem is affecting both of my Touches. Would a factory reset of the Touches help here ? This is getting weirder now.. SqueezeCommander has stopped communicating with the Touch - if I select an album to play it says it's playing the album, but the Touch ignores the instruction. Could this all be network related ? Thanks - did a complete clear & rescan. Still no joy :( There was a big windows 10 update on shutdown (which has sometimes affected LMS performance). No effect either. What an earth could be happening where album art is fine on LMS web interface and mobile app, but just not getting through to the Touch... ? I am still awaiting broadband activation (engineers working on it as I type) but home network working OK and music playing fine. Grr... Hello We have no internet connection yet in our new house, but have been streaming music fine from my laptop LMS 7.9. However album art is not appearing on the Touch screen (but is on my mobile via SqueezeCommander). Does the Touch require internet connection to show album art ? If not any ideas ? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Weird issue with my USB HD music library - not recognised at LMS startup. Please help
Hello Something strange has started to happen with my beloved Squeezebox ecosystem ! When I start up my Win 10 laptop LMS server machine (latest 7.9x LMS version) and try to play music via SqueezeCommander on S3 phone, a playlist appears but no album art & nothing plays. To get it working properly I have to unplug the USB HD and plug it back in again (as though it somehow needs refreshing). This hasn't been an issue before. Any ideas ?
