Ah, that did it :)
I set MPEG-4 / AAC to Disabled and it seeks properly now.
Also did the same for File Format AAC / AAC just in case.

Try disabling all apart from FLAC ... faad/flac

I also tried renaming a .m4a file to .mp4 to see if this made a
difference, but just the same.

I use have many m4a files (which contain AAC-LC) and they play fine with
cue files (which means the seek function is OK).

I don't have a solution, but I am having random issues ever since
upgrading my Vortexbox to a 2.4 and LMS 7.9. Some of my mp4a files
