Do forum members have any ideas how I might fix this?
Not yet. But did you try a simple restart? Check firewall settings. And
take a peek at server.log.

the relatively new Anniversary edition and all updates. I wanted to
install the Triode Spotify plugin. Third party plugins are not showing
on the server settings plugin page and the Extension Downloader plugin
is greyed out
