Why not do yourself a favour and get a new card (say 16gb) and install the latest Raspbian Stretch. If you have a good paper round, you can save and also get a rpi3B+. Then use the rpi2 with pCP as a player. Just a thought :) ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110279 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

My RPI is some years old so I would suspect it should be a 32bit. But I read that newer ones run 32bit Software on 64 architecture. That's why I was not sure what to use as download. Maybe the process gets killed because it is not 32bit? But should there not be an error loading it anyway? bvrulez's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67251 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110279 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

@ bvrulez You don't say which OS you are running on the pi. My guess is that you have corrupted the SD card by > and therefore switched the Raspi on and off several times If you just kept pulling the plug. an esteemed member here once told me that Code: sudo apt-get remove logitechmediaserver is the gentle way to upgrade as it maintains the preferences. At your own risk, of course :p ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110279 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LSM on Raspi is running but Website not reachable
Oh, went back to your initial post. It did work, and you did not upgrade the OS since? Maybe your powering on/off wasn't always proper and you killed your prefs file? Move it to a safe place and start over. Would that work? If so, investigate your prefs file. And run fsck anyway. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

*server.log tells me that the process died and is restarting. This seems to happen every 8 seconds. The version is v7.9.1 and it is 64bit.* You might give 7.9.2 another try. Without more information about your system I have to assume that your Perl is more recent than what 7.9.1 supports. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

This seems to happen every 8 seconds. The version is v7.9.1 and it is 64bit.* scanner.log has the last entry from 4 months ago. perfmon.log is empty. Maybe I should purge the whole program and reinstall new. Can you tell me where the settings are stored so I might be able to make a backup? bvrulez's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67251 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110279 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Now, I cannot connect to the Web GUI any more. I am able to connect via SSH and Teamviewer. My several Squeezeboxes and my Android app Squeezer also cannot find the server. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LSM on Raspi is running but Website not reachable
I have been running LMS on my Raspi for a while now and never had issues. Today I rewired all my connections on my desk and therefore switched the Raspi on and off several times. Now, I cannot connect to the Web GUI any more. I am able to connect via SSH and Teamviewer. My several Squeezeboxes and my Android app Squeezer also cannot find the server. I tried Code: sudo service logitechmediaserver status and also start, stop, restart and force-reload to make sure the serice runs fine. I get the output that the service is running activley (on status). I also checked my router in case it is a firewall thing. It is an EDGE Router with a highly configurable GUI so I am not really able to tell if all is fine there. Given that I never had problems I would not understand why it now should block anything from my Raspi. I have a forwarding rule for incomming traffic to my NAS which originally included the port 9000 which the Raspi is using. Since I don't connect via internet but just inside my LAN this should not be a problem, but to make sure I took 9000 out of the range and added a rule to forward it to the Raspi. I also tried to install the latest version of LMS using the download from slimdevices and then stopping the server and Code: sudo dpkg -i dowload_arm_all.deb I am not sure if my Rasperry is 32 or 64 bit but since I did not get an error I think I managed to do well with the file "_all". Which outputs should be comming after this command? Also, where can I check which version of LMS is actually running to make sure the update did work? I wanted to do a re-install with preserving my settings. That's why I did not purge before installing the update. Should I purge? Is there a way to save the settings for all my boxes? Thanks a lot!
