True - but it would detect errors in the file structure itself, i.e. by an unclenches unmount. Anyway - a scan now, with these commands removed, was successful - let's see if it stays like that. Just done a Code: fsck.ext4 -f and everything OK. I had the following commands at boot: Code: /home/tc/hdparm -B 127 /dev/sda /home/tc/hdparm -S 240 /dev/sda which I now removed and deleted the cache and library files. Thanks - Unlikely - I have Ann external 2.5 2TB LaCie HDD which I bought about 1/2 year ago. The data partition tor LMS has 86GB left, the Music partition > 1TB. OK - deleted cache.db and library.db and it seems to be working. It is better - most of the Music is there, although there seems to be still a problem as quite a bit of music is still missing. The log has been set to log slimproto - which is not the best starting point - it is a low level player protocol - doesn't show any problems that might be on LMS Under logging tab in WebUI Setting/Advanced/Loggin - select "Reset Logging Preferences" and click apply. Does scan work OK - are file all present after scanning ? Hi I realised that I don't have any local music anymore, although I can browse them via the file browser in LMS. I tried re-scanning, but no change. I tried rescanning after clearing the library, also no change. I the log are many strange errors - I attach the log. any ideas what is going on and what I could do?
