The tray icon is a separate application (called SqueezeTray) that is
used to launch the LMS Control Panel. Click the tray icon and select
'Open Control Panel' (use 'as Administrator' if necessary), or just
double-click the icon. From the Control Panel you'll see where you can
shut down LMS.

When I right click on the tray icon and choose exit, it only remove the

I quit LMS from systray, not just close web interface or control panel.
My home automation use TCP client on C# to check if a port is open
So I close LMS on systray, check port on my HA and it return open.

My problem is, when LMS is off or when I exit it, port 9000 still open
so my home automation system thinks LMS is up.
Is there a way to close the port when LMS is off ?
LMS is a service/application running in the background. Closing the web
UI or the control panel etc. does not shut it down.

Is there a way to close the port when LMS is off ?
Thank :)
