-> Logitech Media Server. (At least on Linux anyway)
Whatever :-)
Slimserver was the first server, for the SliMP3 player
The very first was SliMP3, like the player ;-)

As I understand it, you still need a reliable LMS setup. Remind us -
where is your music stored?
LMS server: Pi Zero
Amp: Denon PMA-50
Players/Speakers: Touch, Logitech Radios, Sonos, Libratone Zipp, GGMM
E2 & E3, Yamaha WXAD-010,

Wasn’t it SqueezeCenter->Squeezebox Server?
Not sure, tbh. I thought "SqueezeCenter" was after the "Server" period,

Slim Devices was bought by Logitech in 2006, so then the names started
changing but it's all one ongoing project. Yo
You want Logitech Media Server:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=7.9
You'll need to configure a Raspberry Pi to be a player:

Or you can purchase
Did the slim server precede the Logitech Squeezebox ?
What is the difference and would a slim server perform a basic streaming
